~~~Many an afternoon Kaylia found she could not abide staying in the keep and would wander off on the back of her horse Deryni to see what was just over the hill. At times she would come to a spot in the fall that was so beautiful that she had to get down and walk to absorb it all. Whether it was because of who she was or just her own spirit's nature, baby wildlife would begin to come to her out of the dark sheltering.~~~
