A Puppies Christmas

  She had been a good little puppy all year. She had only chased the cat three, okay four times, drank the remaining coffee out of any cups that had some left in it, after all wasn't that why it was there? And one thing she was sure of was that she had NEVER barked at anyone that did not deserve it. And now it had come! Her first Christmas Eve! She had even allowed her owner to groom her and put a red bow on her neck. Now she was waiting for the guy in the red suit everyone that was human called Santa Claus because she knew in her heart of hearts that accompanying him was Puppy Claus! An elegant large male standard poodle, dressed in a red coat, driving a sleigh pulled by eight white kittens that always came to deliver presents to good little puppies and kittens. As she watched the Christmas fairies finish trimming the tree, she saw it! There under the tree was a huge red stocking! It had her name on it! Puppy Claus had come and gone while she lay napping. She was one happy puppy full of love for her owner and how her owner must have said how good she had been this first year!
