A Journey Is Almost Complete

So it was that with the help of William by her side, Kaylia was able to make the way to the main Kingdom of the Isles. Forests one again wee filled with birds that sang songs of the couples joy as they moved closer to their destiny as they moved closer to her home. She knew that he was the one that would fill her life with the love that she had never known, but she also knew that Darius was out there still, she could feel him, like a dark shadow that cast ore her a sadness even now. What would she find as she came upon the Kingdom, would the people return to her and support her as before she had left? Or would she find a Kingdom's Capital empty of any of her former Lairds and subjects? There was so much to tell William about her tale. She knew that he was intertwined in her Spirit as she was in His Spirit as well. She seemed to be waiting, almost as if she were expecting a sign to come from somewhere. Soft was the light in the glen of the forest where they were, if all was well soon she would know, soon the sign would appear.
